With organizations across Canada facing a period of substantial change, the timing of Alberta Blue Cross® being recognized among Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2026 has special significance.
On Tuesday, Mediacorp Canada Inc. announced its selection for the Top 100 Employers for 2026, which recognizes employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.
In announcing this year’s winners, Mediacorp noted that employers in Canada are at a remarkable juncture—facing once-in-a-generation challenges in artificial intelligence, trade and demographics—but noting that periods of disruption are often catalysts for long-term advantage and that many of today’s strongest organizations are those that adapt quickly, emerging more resilient and focused.
“Periods of profound change often separate organizations that embrace opportunity from those that fall behind,” Mediacorp stated in its announcement. “For many of this year’s winners, the current environment has prompted deeper investment in talent, supporting employees through uncertainty while building the capabilities to outpace competitors in the years to come.”
“At Alberta Blue Cross®, our ability to serve our customers and communities starts with our people and a shared commitment to innovation, collaboration and learning,” says Mark Razzolini, senior vice-president and chief people officer for Alberta Blue Cross®. “Many organizations are going through a time of change, and Alberta Blue Cross® is also transforming in the way we do business and how we support the wellbeing of our customers, so it is particularly meaningful to be recognized this year among Canada’s Top 100 Employers.”
This is the second consecutive year that Alberta Blue Cross® has made Canada’s Top 100 Employers ranking. It is the only employer in Edmonton to achieve this recognition, and one of just 10 in Alberta.
